PORCELAIN VENEERS

What are porcelain veneers?

Porcelain veneers are thin shells placed over your front teeth without requiring much removal of tooth structure. Porcelain is a high-quality material used for creating veneers. We employ a special technique to make the veneers thin yet strong. The veneers are custom-made from an impression of your teeth, ensuring a perfect fit. Together, we’ll discuss the desired color and shape of the veneers to create a natural-looking smile, giving you a radiant Hollywood smile as if your teeth were always perfect by nature.

We manufacture our veneers in our own dental laboratory.

Our veneers are crafted in our own dental laboratory, where our skilled dental technician creates porcelain veneers as thin as a lens. Thanks to this special technique, we often don’t need to reshape your teeth, giving you the beautiful smile you’ve always wanted. With close collaboration between our dentists and the technician, the veneers can be color-matched “chair-side” to ensure a flawless result. We’re not satisfied until you are!

Q

COMPOSITE VENEERS

What are composite veneers?

A composite veneer is made from a material similar to that used for fillings. Composite fillings are made of the same substance. Composite offers versatility, allowing us to rebuild front teeth after a fracture or restore discolored teeth. With composite veneers, you can improve the shape, color, and alignment of your teeth. Composite is a resin material and typically lasts between three to five years. For this reason, we always recommend replacing composite veneers after this period with either new composite or porcelain.

In our practice, we use lab-made composite veneers, which are more beautiful and precise. The application of composite veneers is done in two treatments.

The main advantage of composite veneers is their cost-effectiveness and the short duration of treatment. However, porcelain veneers are necessary for achieving the natural gloss of enamel.

Advantages of composite veneers

Quick treatment, typically in 1 appointment
Affordable and attractive solution

Disadvantages of composite veneers

Absorbs stains from coffee, wine, or smoking
Not as durable—needs replacement after a while
More prone to damage compared to porcelain
Often less shiny and “lifelike” than porcelain
